The Team Selection is a 2-stage procedure:

In order to apply for Teams, please fill out the respective application form which you will find below each team description.

Second Stage 03.02-07.02

Interviews

After reviewing your application, we will send you an invitation to an interview. The selected applicants are going to be invited to interviews, which will take place between 03.02 and 07.02. During this last stage, we want to get to know you better to make a final decision.

Teams

Each team is in charge of the operational functioning of the different association departments. As part of the team, you will be able to develop the association’s activities. at the same time, you will be able to shape the association’s departments with your own ideas and vision. This will allow you to gain valuable experience and skills in your preferred field. Check them out!

You can apply for more than one team, but you can only be part of one.

For the second semester, we are exclusively seeking team members for the Workshops, Blog, and Special Events teams.

Workshops

If you like brainstorming and making ideas happen, the Workshops team is for you! By joining this team you will help to organize fun and impactful workshops every month. From developing themes to planning the logistics, you’ll gain hands-on experience in event management and learn how to coordinate activities that make a real difference for attendees. Moreover, you will gain valuable skills important for your future career, regarding CV’s and Linkedin. What’s more, you’ll get to attend the workshops you helped organize, witnessing your ideas come to life and seeing the positive impact they have on participants!

As a member of the Workshops team, you will be brainstorming ideas and establishing the workshops. This means contacting the workshop leaders, finding a venue and consulting with the workshop leader on the content of the meeting. You will also help in organising and conducting CV consultation sessions and assist the Head of this Department in her other tasks.

Marketing

As a Marketing team member, you will primarily be responsible for working on the social media strategy of the ECA, designing and posting content and communicating our activities to our (potential) members and followers. You will also receive the opportunity to specialize on one specific platform: we currently operate on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

In this team you have the opportunity to be creative and make an impact! The roles in this team go from crafting  and designing eye-catching social media posts to communicating our  activities. Therefore, this team is about bringing our community life online. In this team you will have the chance to develop your own projects and learn about community management. This will also ensure that you will get to experience from and explore new marketing techniques, and become a pro at community building.

External Affairs

Are you a person who enjoys meeting new people and building new meaningful connections, if yes this team is well suited for you! This team is all about fostering relationships that help the association grow and thrive. You will work on establishing partnerships with organizations, institutions and sponsors by creating opportunities for members and bringing exciting projects to life. This is a perfect opportunity to represent the ECA to the outside world, expand your network, and gain on hands -on experience.

The External Affairs team is responsible for managing ECA's existing partnership relations as well as acquiring new strategic and local partnerships. As a member of this team, you will get the opportunity to expand your network and assist the Head of External Affairs Department and the Treasurer by finding funding opportunities for the association.

Blog

Have a passion for writing? If this is the case, the blog team can be your time to shine! As the creative force of the Blue & Yellow -blog you’ll have the opportunity to research, write, and edit content that informs, inspires, and engages readers. Being part of this team allows you to delve into topics that spark your curiosity and creativity, giving you the freedom to share your unique voice with a broader audience.  

Most importantly, you get to explore current and interesting topics that show the course of the ECA’s future publications. You’ll not only improve your writing and editing skills, but also strengthen your research capabilities. In addition, you will gain research and journalistic skills, while sharing your unique voice. Moreover, you’ll play an integral role in shaping ECA’s narrative and showcasing the values and vision of the association.

Study Trips

Do you dream of exploring new places and gaining more practical knowledge of your job opportunities? This team is all about bringing it all together. In this team you will play a key role in organizing one of the ECA’s most popular activities by contacting various institutions, planning visits to companies, and handling the logistics to make every trip enjoyable and seamless. From brainstorming destinations to coordinating details, you will gain hands-on experience in event planning, travel organization and teamwork. If you are ready to combine exploration with impactful planning, you should definitely join the Study Trips team.

This team helps the Head of the Study Trips Department in organising one of the most popular ECA activities - Study Trips. You will support the organisation of a trip by finding institutions and private sector companies we can visit, looking up accommodation and transport possibilities, planning the sightseeing activities and helping in establishing the trip budget.

Special Events

Are you keen on bringing people together and creating unforgettable experiences, if yes this team is the perfect one for you! This team is all about planning events with fascinating guest speakers and organizations. But it does not stop there, this team plans monthly socials and networking events. Whether it’s brainstorming unique themes, coordinating logistics, or executing creative ideas, you’ll play a key role in crafting memorable moments for the ECA community. Therefore, striking the best mix of professionalism and relaxation. What’s more, you’ll get to see your hard work come to life at the events themselves, experiencing the impact of your efforts firsthand.

In the Special Events team, you will be able to organise one of the core activities of ECA. You will brainstorm and develop your own ideas for events, as well as consult the ideas of your teammates and the Head of the Special Events Department. Furthermore, you will be directly involved in the organisation and logistics of these events.

Internal Affairs

This team is in charge of developing inter-ECA member relations, as well as the administration of the association. Hence, you will be assigned tasks such as devising newsletter content, developing new internal projects, pitching ideas to improve relations and administration, and overall ensuring the smooth functioning of the association.

If you are a person that loves to keep things organized and running smoothly, this team is perfect for you. This team will tackle the planning and execution of internal projects and come up with new ideas to tighten the community itself. Internal Affairs is also about closing the cap between aluminas and current members. This team handles everything from feedback loops to administration tasks, ensuring that the association runs smoothly.
