The first special event of the European Careers Association comes to Maastricht already on the 3rd of October! 

(Head)starting your career in Brussels will be an evening with Samantha Scarpa Ferraglio, a Maastricht graduate and young professional... but let her introduce herself:

"Hello everybody! I am Samantha, I am 24 years old and I am Italian. After starting my academic career in Turin, Italy, I obtained a Bachelor's in International Relations and I spent one year of Erasmus, in Maastricht, specialising in EU studies. I then obtained two LL.M.s in EU Law, one at the European Law School in Maastricht and one at the College of Europe in Bruges. Interested in EU law matters and EU affairs in general, I am currently working as a Trainee in a law firm in Brussels, dealing with EU Competition Law. Looking forward to sharing my experience with you!"

In an interview with Samantha, we will focus on:

- the admission process to the College of Europe, 

- the experience of studying in this top EU post-graduate school, 

- finding an EU-affairs job in Brussels

- working in a law firm dealing with competition law

- getting an internship at the European Union institutions.

Afterwards, you will have the possibility to ask your own questions in a Q&A session. 

This event is only open to ECA Maastricht members. It will take place on zoom. ECA members will receive a zoom invitation on the day of the event.
