Working as an MEP: Interview with Rasmus Andresen

ECA Maastricht and Euroteachers have the pleasure to invite you to our live interview and Q&A session with Mr Rasmus Andresen, Member of the European Parliament for the Greens/EFA! Dive into the world of a politician who is working on the Green Deal, the EU budget committee, as well as the Delegation for relations with Canada. Mr Andressen will talk about his remarkable experience in local and regional politics in Northern Germany and Denmark, which started at a very young age, and his road to becoming a member of the European Parliament in 2019 at the age of 33.

As a Member of the European Parliament, Mr Andressen is best suited to share his experience of what EU politics look like. Join this special event on the 26th of March to learn about his career path, work as an MEP, and his responsibilities and challenges in the Parliament. The second part of the interview will be devoted to getting a first-hand account on the European Green Deal, the EU budget, and digital issues including artificial intelligence, topics that are the mainstay for the future of the European Union. Gain insights about what his role in the Parliamentary Committees concretely entails, his achievements and struggles, as well as the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the MEPs ability to act. The last part of the event will be a Q&A devoted to all of your questions for Mr Andressen!
