Special Event: Discover the Council of Europe and its Career Opportunities

Did you know that no country has ever joined the European Union without first being a member of the Council of Europe? That the European flag was actually created by the Council of Europe in 1955? That the Council of Europe has over 220 treaties to promote human rights, democracy and the rule of law? That the Holy See, Canada, Japan, USA and Mexico have observer status with the Council of Europe?

If you are interested in finding out more about the Council of Europe, its functioning, its mission, how it works to uphold human rights, democracy and the rule of law, as well as what career opportunities it can offer you, then we invite you to join our Lecture Series on the Council of Europe!

Our first webinar will take place on the 28th of October at 16:30-18:15 on Zoom. First, Mr Alun Drake from the Directorate of Communications will present the Council of Europe by focusing on its mission and activities. Second, Mr Simeon Simenov from the Directorate of Human Resources will present the recruitment policies and internship opportunities in the organization. Lastly, there will be a Q&A session where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions to our special guests.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity! We hope to see you there!

This event is open to everyone! If you are not an ECA Maastricht member but would like to join, please fill this form: https://forms.gle/1Z41pkPuiSRwvnKX6. You will receive the zoom link shortly before the event.
