Second Stage 08.05 - 15.05
Recruitment Tasks
On May 8th you will receive short tasks relating to the department(s) you have chosen. The tasks are not going to be difficult, they are rather designed to see how well you fit a specific department.
Third Stage 19.05 - 23.05
Interview
The selected applicants are going to be invited to interviews, which will take place between the days indicated. During this last stage, we want to get to know you better to make a final decision.
Results - 24.05.2024
The selected Council Members will receive an email with further details.
Council Portfolios
Apart from attending the Council Meetings and discussing the direction of the ECA each Council Member may also receive their own department and work closely with one of the Managing Board members.
You can apply for more than one department.
Workshops
You are going to be responsible for the newest and fastest growing departments of ECA - the workshops. Your responsibilities will include working on the content of the workshops and the CV-enhancement sessions, ensuring the good functioning of the meetings, coming up with new ideas for topics and contacting the guests. Marketing
You are going to be responsible for the brand identity of ECA and promoting the association’s activities on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. This includes using Canva to design posts, coming up with new marketing strategies and projects, and directing the Marketing team. Check the position’s fact sheet here.
External Affairs
You are going to be responsible for representing the ECA and acquiring new partnerships with Institutions, NGOs, as well as Lobbying, Law and Consultancy firms, and other organizations. Furthermore, you will also be in charge of finding funding for the association. Check the position’s fact sheet here.
Internal Affairs
You are going to be responsible for member services and the development of administration and internal relations. This includes the organization of sign-ups, an internal feedback system, the management of the calendars and the communications with members (i.e. newsletters), among others. Furthermore, you are in charge of seeking new ways to smoothen the association’s functioning. Check the position’s fact sheet here.
Study Trips
You will be responsible for the organization of the ECA study trips, including trips to Luxembourg, the Hague, Brussels and other cities with relevant EU institutions, private companies and other organizations. Thus, your tasks will be to arrange the visits and to book transportation and accommodation. Check out the fact sheet here.
Special Events
You are going to be responsible for one of the core departments of ECA. You will organize events with guest speakers, partners, and European institutions, as well as social events. You will also be able to select and direct your own team. Check the position’s fact sheet here.
Blog
You are going to be responsible for the management of the association’s blog: blue&yellow. As editor-in-chief, you will have to organize the blog’s functioning, the type of content, the edition of material, and the management of the blog team. You will be working with the President.
