ECA Maastricht has a pleasure to invite all members to “Finding a Job 102”, our second career workshop this year!

On the 4th of May at 16:00, our special guest, Dr Leonhardt van Efferink, will present his own career path, and then moderate a discussion with you to discover what matters in today’s job market. Do you want to boost your employability, during your studies and afterwards? Do you think about a job in (geo)politics, media, business, or the public sector? Do you want to learn more about the job market after Maastricht University, the valuable skills and experiences, and the expectations of employers? Then this is the right workshop for you! This event will be highly interactive, giving you the chance to focus on the issues that are most important to YOU!

How to make sense of economic and political developments? This is a challenging question for professionals and students nowadays. Since 1997, Dr van Efferink has helped many organizations with finding answers to this question. More specifically, he has developed unique expertise in the analysis of country risk, geopolitical conflicts and media representations. Depending on the needs of his clients, he works as a Trainer, an Analyst and a Lecturer. In all, he is a hybrid professional who enjoys working with different kinds of organizations. He has worked for companies, government agencies, international organizations, NGOs and universities. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer, Tutor and Thesis Supervisor at SBE, FASOS and UNU-MERIT.
